ANCC Accreditation (Nurses):
Annenberg Center for Health Sciences is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
A maximum of 1.5 contact hours may be earned for successful completion of this activity.
The goal of this internet broadcast is to deliver focused, educational updates highlighting clinically relevant advances in the management of patients with IBS and IBS-like symptoms.
Upon completion of this educational activity, participants should be able to:
Design evidence-based treatment plans for patients with IBS that are aligned with current evidence-based recommendations
Describe the methodologic quality of study design, magnitude of benefit of specific IBS treatments, safety, and tolerability of these therapies
Incorporate new IBS therapies effectively into clinical practice

AAPA Accreditation (Physician Assistants):
This program is not yet approved for CME credit. Conference organizers plan to request 1.5 AAPA Category 1 CME credits from the AAPA Review Panel. The total number of approved credits is yet to be determined.
