2024 Best of GHAPP Regional Meetings  | Accreditation

Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of gastroenterology and hepatology APPs (nurses, nurse practitioners and physician assistants) involved in the management of patients with CLD and GI Disorders.

 

Program Overview

The joint providership of Medical Education Resources (MER) and Gastroenterology & Hepatology Advanced Practice Providers (GHAPP) will host 10 regional conferences with education on the management of CLD and GI disorders. The series will feature an engaging and interactive format and will focus on emerging data on new treatment options, evolving data on existing treatment and diagnostic modalities and critical information on improving patient outcomes.

 

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

 

  • Describe current screening, diagnosis, and management options for patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) and gastrointestinal (GI) disorders

  • Apply optimal treatment strategies for patients with CLD and GI disorders

  • Compare and contrast currently available treatment modalities for CLD and GI disorders

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Medical Education Resources (MER) and GHAPP. MER is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
 

Nursing Credit

Medical Education Resources designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.5o ANCC nursing contact hours. Nurses will be awarded contact hours upon successful completion of the activity.

 

Medical Education Resources is a provider of continuing nursing education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP 12299, for 1.5o contact hours.
