GHAPP Third Annual Conference

November 19-21, 2020

Red Rock Hotel
Las Vegas, NV

"The 2019 GHAPP Second Annual Conference was a true success! With over 560 attendees from 46 states, we want to thank all of our attendees, supporters and sponsors for a great conference!  We are looking forward to this year's conference."

As we prepare for the 3rd Annual GHAPP Conference, your health and safety are our top concern. Rest assured, GHAPP remains diligent in ensuring that the safety and security of our attendees, speakers and staff remains our top priority.

As we move ahead with the planning and implementing of the conference, GHAPP will continue to place high importance on facilitating measures that will ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions for everyone onsite during the event. In order to remain informed about the ongoing situation at both the global and local levels, we are monitoring communication from the CDC, on the local level with the hotel where the conference will be held, as well as with additional local health officials and organizations.  We will continue to update our safety measures and update our communications based on their guidelines.

The Red Rock Resort has reopened on June 4th.  Click below to read The Red Rock Resort's Health and Safety Plan.  Here are some images of meeting spaces organized with seating at 6 ft apart and how some of our spaces will look for the GHAPP Conference.

About the 2020 GHAPP Conference

The GHAPP conference is the only conference specifically designed by advanced practice providers (APPs) for the purpose of meeting the educational needs of APPs who specialize in the management of patients with GI disorders and chronic liver disease. APPs, also known as nurse practitioners and physician assistants, have become important members of the care team in today’s healthcare environment. With an aging U.S. population and the growing shortage of physicians, APPs play a key role in the health care and management of patients with chronic illnesses. Therefore, we are excited to launch the third annual GHAPP conference and are confident that it will surpass the success we had with the 2019 conference. We had over 560 registered attendees coming from all over the country for a two-day meeting filled with scientific information on the latest developments and important concepts in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with GI disorders and chronic liver disease.

Course Overview

The objective of the 2020 GHAPP conference is to bring together APPs for an in-depth clinical update, to foster an interactive discussion on the latest developments, and to review important current concepts in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients with GI disorders and chronic liver disease. The conference will exclusively feature expert APP speakers and will offer a combined plenary and small-group learning environment to facilitate interaction between attendees and faculty on the most clinically relevant topics, including viral hepatitis, NASH, cirrhosis, and GI disorders: IBD, IBS, and OIC.

The conference will be co-chaired by the GHAPP directors who will develop the meeting agenda and will select the conference faculty. The faculty will be leading nurse practitioners and physician assistants from top GI and hepatology centers of expertise; they will assist in developing the educational content. The topics covered during the 2020 meeting will have a strong focus on hepatitis C, cirrhosis and its complications, inflammatory bowel disease, and functional GI and upper GI disorders, as these fields are rapidly evolving and new data is continuously being presented and published.
